Always wanted to participate in one of our improv workshops but didn't have 8 weeks to commit? Introducing Tuesday Night Improv Club (TUNIC) the class you can come to when you want, and not when you don't.

Each week we'll meet to tackle a different theme/technique/form/exercise. The week's focus will be posted ahead of time, so you can decide whether you want to come every week or just to the workshops that interest you!

TUNIC is a 100% free program. We do ask that you reserve your spot ahead of time on eventbrite, as space is limited and we may fill up.

Have questions? Feel free to reach out at info@comedycommunity.org. Otherwise sign up today and we'll see you Tuesday night!

WHAT THIS IS

A chance to learn and work through the lessons in the UCB Comedy Improv Manual with a group of fellow experienced performers.

An opportunity to meet new people in the community, make new connections, and grow as an artist and human.

Almost certainly going to be a fun and fulfilling time!

WHAT THIS IS NOT

A masterclass led by a "guru" or anything close to it. While the workshops will have a seasoned facilitator, we will be working together and learning from each other.

Going to get you any clout. Almost nobody will care that you're doing/have done these workshops. This is really just for personal artistic growth.

In any way associated with or endorsed by UCB. We're just a group of artists working through published material together!

REQUIREMENTS

There is no audition for this workshop, but we are asking participants to have either: completed a one-year training program at either The Annoyance, iO, or The Second City - OR - completed a BA or BFA program in theatre performance.

While we understand unexpected absences might occur, if you know you'll be unavailable for two or more dates we ask that you wait to register for another session when you have more availability.

COST - $50

$50 includes a digital copy of the UCB Comedy Improvisation Manual!

Financial assistance is available for those who need it. Email fa@comedycommunity.org for more information.
